How Haylo uses feedback to improve

When you rate a Haylo answer in the Conversation Studio, you can choose to share what worked or what missed. We use that feedback to make Haylo safer, clearer, warmer, and more useful without giving the model permission to act on its own.

Short version

Feedback helps us improve Haylo, but it does not let Haylo publish, spend money, change payouts, or ship production changes by itself. Humans still review and approve what goes live.

What feedback can include

  • The rating you chose, such as helpful or needs work.
  • The feedback categories you selected.
  • Your optional written note.
  • The Haylo answer you rated and limited studio context needed to understand that turn.
  • Safety and quality labels generated from the turn, such as wrong field, wrong card type, or tone felt off.

What stays off limits

  • Stripe, checkout, payout, ledger, withdrawal, and balance data.
  • Authentication secrets, session tokens, API keys, and private credentials.
  • Private giver-authored gratitude or wall content unless a separate explicit product flow says otherwise.
  • Contact identifiers such as emails or phone numbers are redacted from feedback reports when detected.
  • Any direct browser authority to publish, pay, withdraw, or change money truth.

How feedback becomes improvement

Feedback becomes evidence first. We use it to build eval cases, trace reports, and proposed fixes. A human reviews the pattern, the code change, and the test result before anything moves toward staging or production.

What Haylo is allowed to do

Haylo can chat, strategize, draft and edit preview cards, open safe creation tools, and ask for clear confirmation before publishing. Haylo cannot silently touch money, secrets, authentication, payouts, withdrawals, or production release gates.

Control and questions

You do not have to submit feedback to use the Conversation Studio. If you have a privacy question or want help with data access or deletion, contact us through the support paths listed in the Help Center and privacy policy.

When model-improvement capture is enabled, submitting feedback stores your consent in this browser so later Conversation Studio turns can send minimized, redacted activity signals. Clearing HayloFriend site data removes that browser-side consent; contact us if you want help reviewing or deleting feedback already sent.
