Slash commands

Commands shape your light right from the Create chat. Use them to edit any field, turn a light into recurring support, or pull in ideas, photos, and art.

Use a command

  1. In the Create chat, type the command (for example, /price), or just tell Haylo what you want in plain words.
  2. Haylo fills in what it needs and updates your live preview as you go.
  3. Type help, /help, or ? anytime to bring up the full list.

Good to know

Common questions

What are slash commands in HayloFriend?
Slash commands are shortcuts you type in the Create chat to shape your light: edit any field, set recurring support, or pull in ideas, photos, and art. You can also just tell Haylo what you want in plain words. Both work.
Do I have to memorize the commands?
No. Every command has a plain-words equivalent, so you can talk to Haylo normally. Type help, /help, or ? anytime to see the full list.
How do I make my light public?
Nothing goes public until you say /publish. Use /republish to push later edits to the live version.
Can I set up recurring support?
Yes. Use /mrr to offer monthly support, or /arr to offer yearly support.
