Money & payouts

Where funds live, how balances update, what fees mean, and what to check first when something looks off.

Does Haylo hold my funds?

No. Stripe holds your funds. Haylo only reflects Stripe’s records (no custody).

How do I contact support?

If something looks wrong, contact support with the amount, date/time, and what you expected to see. Don’t share sensitive personal data; we’ll ask only for what we need.

How money works

Stripe holds your funds. Haylo reflects Stripe’s truth — clearly, safely, and without custody.

My payout failed — why?

Failed payouts are usually bank details, verification, or Stripe risk checks. The fastest fix is usually in Stripe: update payout details and complete any required verification.

What fees do I pay?

Currently: 3.5% on standard payouts and Friday batch payouts. If you’re eligible and choose instant payout, an additional 1.5% Haylo fee applies. Stripe processing fees apply separately (shown before you confirm where relevant).

What is instant withdrawal?

Instant withdrawal moves eligible funds faster than standard payouts. It’s optional, and any instant payout fee is shown before you confirm.

When do I get paid out?

Your payouts follow your Stripe payout schedule. Reality mirrors Stripe, so new money events only move when Stripe marks them in its balance. If you don’t see a payout yet, it may be pending, in transit, or waiting on Stripe verification.

Why does my available balance come from Stripe?

Haylo never holds your money. All creator funds live in your Stripe connected account. Reality simply reflects what Stripe reports as payout-ready or still on the way. If a payout was just sent or an SMS light was just claimed and Reality has not changed yet, that usually means Stripe has not updated its own balance snapshot yet — not that Haylo withheld anything.
