Click Get started and Haylo creates your public thank-you link right away. Your link uses your handle, like haylofriend.com/thank/your-handle.
Note
There is no separate setup step before you can receive gratitude.
Your name is sacred
Your chosen name is your identity anchor on HayloFriend. In Your impact, click your name to choose the public handle that fits you. You can save it as long as nobody else is using it.
Old links keep working
When your handle changes, Haylo keeps previous and future gratitude connected to your profile so your history follows the name you choose.
The two ways
Giving and receiving light
Almost everything on Haylo comes down to two gentle moments: being thanked by someone you helped, and thanking someone who helped you. We call both of them light. Here is how each one works.
Receive
Invite a thank-you
When someone made you feel seen, let them say it. Share your thank-you link or show your QR code, and they can leave a kind word or a tip in seconds, with no app or account to set up. This is how light finds its way to you.
Put it anywhere people already find you: your Linktree, email signature, a QR code, your social bio, or our free tools.
Give
Send Light
When someone made your day, send a little light their way. Pick the person, choose an amount, add a kind word, and send. Recognition does not have to be loud to be real. This is how you pass light on.
Why we call it light
Light is gratitude given freely, with nothing expected in return. That is what makes it light, and it feels the same whether you are the one giving it or the one receiving it.

Light is a thank-you sent through HayloFriend. It can include money, a note, or both. Supporters can send Light from your thank-you link without creating an account first.
