Handle basics

Your thank-you link is ready first

Click Get started, sign in, and your thank-you link is ready. No extra setup is required before someone can thank you.

Your chosen name is sacred on HayloFriend. It anchors your story, your public page, and the gratitude people send you. Haylo starts with your Google name when you sign in with Google, or simple initials from your email when you sign in with email.

Thank-you link

Use haylofriend.com/thank/zen when someone already wants to thank you. It is the fastest link for a note, a thank-you, or a tip. They do not need an account.

What they see

The giver opens your thank-you page. From there, they can leave a note, send a tip, or do both. No Haylo account is required for them to give.

Gratitude should not sit behind a paywall

Your thank-you link is free. Your meet page is free. We keep these tools free because gratitude should be easy to give, receive, and share.

When someone sends money, the payment includes HayloFriend’s 3.5% fee plus Stripe’s payment processing fee. That helps keep HayloFriend running. We are not here to chase margins; we are here to keep gratitude moving.

Why meet/your-name?

The gathering place uses a URL like haylofriend.com/meet/zen on purpose. It is there so people can meet you, understand what you offer, and find you when you are ready to be found.

Create your light

Turn what you offer into something people can find

Use Create your light when people already value your work and you want to show them how else you can help. Publish a service, recommendation, ritual, class, or offer with the details they need before they choose.

Why it matters

Your thank-you link is for a quick show of appreciation. Create your light is for the next layer: explaining the work, care, or experience behind that appreciation so people can discover and support it.

On Your impact, the Create your light card lives quietly near the lower right of the dashboard. It is there when you want to grow how gratitude flows in your life, but it stays quiet so you never feel pressured to create a gathering place.

Use this after a class, client call, performance, service, helpful post, or in-person moment. Share your QR code when you are face to face, or copy your link for a bio, text, email, invoice, or follow-up.

Use this when someone helped you and you want to give back. Pick the person, choose an amount, add a note if you want, and finish checkout so your thank-you becomes money they can receive.

Reality is where you check money truth: what landed, what is still settling, and what Stripe says is payout-ready. The dock tiles are shortcuts for your next move: ideas, history, help, sharing tools, and support.

Questions

Ask the Universe is also a built-in product FAQ. Type a plain question like “Who is this for?”, “When do I get paid?”, or “What fees do I pay?” and Haylo shows the closest Knowledge Base answer.

Use this for what could happen next: goals, ideas, collaborations, and the next small move toward your meet page or offer.

Reality

Use this for what already landed: available money, money still settling, payouts, and the Stripe mirror behind your balance.

Light events

Use this as your private history of gratitude money: what you sent, what you received, and the moments connected to each event.

Knowledge

Use this when you need help understanding HayloFriend, including docs, guides, policies, and plain-language explanations.

Your impact is your HayloFriend dashboard. From here you invite a thank-you, send Light, create your light, and see what landed.

When should I invite a thank-you versus send Light?

Invite a thank-you when you want someone to be able to appreciate you. Send Light when you want to thank someone else. Both are gratitude moving with nothing expected back.

Where do I find my money?

Open Reality for your available balance and payouts, and Light events for the full record of every money moment. Stripe holds your funds.
