A light event is a single entry in your private activity record: money received, Light you sent, or a payout, and where each one stands.

Light events are your ledger. Every time gratitude comes in, goes out, or lands in your bank, it shows up here as a plain, dated event, with your lifetime impact running along the top.

How to open Light events
- Open Your impact, your private dashboard.
- Scroll to the very bottom and tap Ask the Universe.
- In the panel that opens, tap Light events.
Good to know
Ask the Universe is the doorway to the rest of your dashboard too. Reality, Knowledge, Embed and share, and support all open from the same panel.
What you'll see
What each event means
- Incoming
- Gratitude someone sent you. Shown as a credit, with who it came from.
- Bank payout
- Money moving to your bank. Shown as a debit on the day it left.
- Sent
- Light you sent to someone else. The Sent tab shows only these.
Why it reads warmly
Each event carries a gentle line like "Zen brightened the path for Haylo." That phrasing is picked from a small, fixed set by the event itself, so your feed always reads the same way. It is a calm layer over the facts, and it never changes a number.
Money truth
Where your money actually lives
Stripe holds your funds. Haylo reflects Stripe's truth, clearly and safely, and never holds your money. Because the ledger mirrors Stripe, a payout or a new tip moves in your feed only when Stripe marks it in its balance, so something can read as pending while Stripe catches up.
Lifetime impact
Your lifetime impact is everything you have received, after the Haylo fee. Payouts to your bank do not reduce it, so it only ever grows.
Common questions
Does Haylo hold my money?
No. Stripe holds your funds and remains the source of truth. Light events reflect what Stripe shows, without taking custody.
Why doesn't my balance match what I expected?
Some money is still settling before it becomes available to pay out. Light events show what has landed, what is pending, and what has already paid out.
Can I see who thanked me?
Yes, unless the supporter chose to stay anonymous. Light events show the gratitude attached to each money moment.
